We checked in our luggage and lined up to board. A video camera was out filming us getting our tickets and is checked. The American behind us had heard it was to identify bodies if we drove off a cliff! Mandy's version was that it was to prevent internal highjackings - I'll take Mandy's version.
We moved inside and were shown to out thrones … this was not a luxury bus, but more The Magic Bus! Thrones for seats that almost fully recline, leg room, foot rests, movie screens, wifi, meals and drinks! Also seem to love intermittent episodes of "laugh out loud" praks tv.
After breakfast, it was time for Bingo too. Everyone was issues cards and they called out the numbers in a way Mecca Bingo would have been proud of. As it takes us a bit of time to translate the numbers, we missed out on half of the - we'll be back in the game in a couple of weeks.
Too good to be true I hear you say, yes. An hour before Lime we broke down and had to wait for a replacement. So even Magic Busses have technical problems, but Cruz Del Sur bus is onto a winning formula.
The bag collection on the other side was something else, bit like free tickets at a David Copperfied show for those who had numbers matching luggage!
